Inside Alta Brasa
Our Story

Prime cuts,
reimagined.

Alta Brasa brings live-fire craft to the Mexican taco, premium cuts and an open flame at the heart of Lawrenceville's most exciting new table.

The idea

“It's pretty much prime cuts in a taco.

Marlene Servin, Co-owner

Alta Brasa Tacos arrives in Lawrenceville with a clear point of view: honor the traditions of the Mexican taco, then raise the bar with premium cuts and open-flame technique. From Brazil we take the brasa itself, and the picanha we fire on the espada. Everything else is taquería, start to finish.

Co-owned by Marlene Servin, the restaurant is a full-service dining destination, with roughly 80 seats and a full-service bar pouring craft cocktails, beer and liquor. It's tacos, elevated; a place where the quality of the meat is the headline.

Beyond the plate, expect appetizers and sides made for the table, seven days of service, and late nights that stretch into karaoke. This is dinner as an event.

The philosophy

Fire is the difference.

Everything begins at the brasa. The live flame caramelizes, chars and concentrates, coaxing flavor out of premium cuts that a flat-top never could. It's slower, it's harder, and it's the whole point.
